CCSA Makes Gift to Volunteer Services
Nancy Campbell & Susan Tetzlaff present a CCSA Legacy Fund check to Volunteer Services Coordinators Kyle Shubeck (far left) and Justin Tatulinski (far right). These funds will purchase a variety of items for patients' use. Volunteer Services, under the Office of Patient Experience, continues to provide supportive programs for adult & pediatric patients throughout the Cleveland Clinic system. Through CCSA's generosity, they are able to support ongoing programs, as well as provide materials needed for new ones.
"Bubbles" Turning Pages Book Party
On September 25 the "Bubble Lady" entertained patients and their families at the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital activity center. She made bubbles using everything from a hula hoop to Crocs to a plastic strawberry container. She made bubbles in bubbles including one with Susan Tetzlaff inside!
Each patient was given a book about bubbles as well as bubbles and wands. Susan Tetzlaff and Nancy Campbell were on hand to bring bubbles and books to patients unable to make it to the activity center.
This event was part of the Turning Pages literacy program at the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. It was made possible through our donation from the CCSA Legacy Fund. We have several more book parties in the works and volunteers are always welcome!
